The Port Royal Sound Foundation received $5,000 from Lockheed Martin Corporation for its second annual STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) FESTIVAL. In addition, the Lockheed Martin engineers and staff hosted a flight simulator booth at the festival…a hit last year and, again this year with children and adults.
Children are one of the biggest reasons we exist. Their future in the Lowcountry depends on a healthy Port Royal Sound. We want them to enjoy the Sound and understand how important its health is to them, their families, and our communities. Lockheed Martin understands, with us, the importance of STEAM educational opportunities for every child. We appreciate our partnership with them and all the vendors who make our annual STEAM Festival fun and educational.
