The Port Royal Sound Foundation received $5,000 from Lockheed Martin Corporation for its third annual STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) FESTIVAL. In addition, the Lockheed Martin engineers and staff hosted a flight simulator booth at the festival…a hit every year with children and adults.
To have the ongoing support of Lockheed Martin for our Annual STEAM Festivals has made a significant impact. Each year over 800 children and families have fun and learn at the festival. Interactive exhibits ensure that children see how science, technology, engineering, art, and math can be applied in a myriad of ways to understand and protect our beautiful Port Royal Sound.
