John Holloway is the Natural Resources Manager at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island.
Learn about the South Carolina Lowcountry Sentinel Landscape. This federally designated partnership supports conservation, resilience, natural resources, and compatible land use efforts to maintain long-term military readiness and landscape resilience. The Lowcountry Sentinel Landscape spans over 2.2 million acres from the Savannah to the Edisto Rivers, with the Port Royal Sound at its heart. We will share how Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and partners work together to bolster coastal resilience through nature-based solutions and habitat enhancement.
