Pritchards Island provides an opportunity to study the ecology, geology, and other dynamics of an undeveloped barrier island. Dr. Kim Ritchie, Associate Professor and Director, Pritchards Island Research – USCB, will discuss current and future research initiatives on the island.

We are centrally located in Beaufort County, where S.C. 170 crosses the Chechessee River. Just take the right exit from either direction at the bridge.
